My clients seek treatment for anxiety, depression, complex trauma, suicidal ideation, and self-harm histories. I have worked with survivors of foster care, drug abuse, war, grief/loss, neglect, and other traumas. I utilize client-centered, trauma-informed models that stabilize symptoms, while we prepare for trauma reprocessing. I work with anyone over the age of 18 and will make some exceptions for minors and their families who are motivated to work on communication, conflict resolution, and emotional healing.
My specialization is using EMDR protocol to address symptoms and unprocessed feelings, along with solution-focused, CBT, DBT and other modalities to help stabilize symptoms and prepare for reprocessing trauma.
