Offering a compassionate, safe place in which you can explore current life challenges that may be difficult to face alone. Relationship conflicts, separations, loss, job changes, eating problems and other addictions, medical illness, mid-life and other transitions often require working in partnership with someone who can help you find your own inner resources to move forward in your life. I have thirty-six years of experience as a medical practitioner working with diverse populations, including college students, young, middle age and older adults. I bring that experience to my psychotherapy work, recognizing the whole person, mind, body and spirit.
I am a mother, a grandmother, a spiritual seeker, a medical practitioner and a psychotherapist. I have a passionate interest in the mind-body-spirit connection - from the perspective of experiential learning in different healing and spiritual traditions; and from studying Western-research models.
As a Physician Assistant, I've worked in public health clinics, private medical practices, a clinical ecology practice, student-health clinics and for ten years in dementia research at The Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Psychiatry. Since 2008 I've maintained a Holistic Psychotherapy Practice in Concord and Cambridge, Massachusetts.

An exploration of the transition from middle adulthood to the joy of wisdom. This will be an on-going therapy group for women in their fifty’s, sixty’s and older to co-create a safe and sacred place in which to share and reflect upon one’s place in the life spectrum. We will learn about the work of Erik Erikson with a focus on Erikson’s virtues of Caring and Wisdom. Cost for the group is $300.00 for the first 10 weeks and $30.00 per week thereafter.
