Licensed Professional Counselor, Ed S, LPC , RRT-P, EMDR-C
You do not have to live with trauma for the rest of your life. You don't have to live with the effects on your body, mind and spirit. "Feeling stuck" is the term I'm hearing most often, and this is accompanied by energy drain and feelings of detachment. There are two major approaches used here: Traumas occuring within the last few months are easily resolved and many times are processed and released in a single session. Eye Movement Desensitization Reorganization (EMDR) is rapid, easy, and efficient. As a seasoned therapist of 40 years, I am completely invested in seeing you walk free.
Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) is compassionate and effective without requiring that you relive the experience. The therapist takes the active role while the you just sit back like at the movie and vividly imagine the words being spoken. Resolution occurs naturally, painlessly, and in a short period of time.
I have a small limited private practice. Clients are selected carefully for having one or more disturbing experiences that are life limiting in various ways. The therapies mentioned are creative, interesting, and effective. Clients report the memory of the event without the intense reaction, and emotion. I am happy to serve in this capacity.
