My name is Violeta Kim and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Orange County, CA, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I have over 10 years of experience working with young children, adolescents, and adults in therapy. I specialize in anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, suicidality, and anger. My approach to therapy is based on the individual's needs. I want to make sure that the therapeutic space is a place where an individual can feel heard, understood, and safe.
The therapeutic approach I take is based on the needs of each individual I work with. Some of the therapeutic approaches I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP).
My communication style is friendly, non-judgmental, accommodating, and reflective. I want clients to feel comfortable and safe talking to me about anything. I pride myself on my ability to be a strong listener and not bring any judgment into our space.
