Hi, my name is Vincent I’m a licensed psychotherapist and I have a private practice here in Manhattan. I regularly work with clients facing challenges with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and dysfunctional or disconnected relationships with their family and with their partners. My areas of specialty include working with people who are “in-between”. Things aren’t working as they are, but you don’t know yet where you want them to go or how to get there. You need a skilled partner and a focused, consistent, supportive place to figure it out. I start with what you came in to explore and tailor my way of working to what you need.

I was trained as a relational or psychodynamic therapist, which simply means that there are two people in the room having an impact on the process. I call upon Interpersonal, contemporary Freudian, Self Psychology, Object Relations, and focus on how you’ve internalized your family or social system, and how you make meaning cognitively to help guide us.

Online work can be effective and convenient, but for those who tend to make the most progress in person, my priority is making sure you feel at ease and safe right from the start. I hope we get a chance to talk and see if we’d be a good fit for one another.
