My mission is to provide individuals, couples, and groups with high quality therapy that is evidence based, client centered, and trauma informed. I practice from elements of CBT, DBT, ACT, and Object relations. My approach to therapy is always unique to each and every client, as each person has a different lived experience that must be accounted for and tailored to fit. I do not believe in one size fits all therapy. As a clinician, I help treat the root causes of the problems in peoples’ lives. The objective is always to put out the fire, not just fan the smoke.
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC). I specialize in mental health, addictions, and co-occurring disorders. I work with adults of all genders and orientations. I believe that therapy is dependent on the the client's values and goals. As a therapist I help support my clients overcome barriers.
Mental health, addictions, and co-occurring disorders are human problems that everyone deals with in their lives and should not be stigmatized. Suffering alone is painful and makes it difficult to function in the world and be authentic. My hope for each of my clients is that they become more sincere to their own values and beliefs.
