I have more than ten years of counseling experience working with individuals of all ages and many presenting problems. I have the most extensive experience working with people with mood-related problems (such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and others) and those who have experienced traumatic events.
My approach to therapy begins with the person and grows from there. It is important to me to develop a close therapeutic relationship focusing on a person’s multicultural and social identities. I have extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and cognitive processing therapy (CPT). I also have training in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
