My name is Vince E. Maytubby
I am a recovered alcoholic and have been sober for 25 years. I am able to work with people who struggle with addiction. I also work with people from all ages. I tend to believe if you alter your perspective then your emotions, actions, beliefs and outcomes with change. I also help people work through issues of anxiety, PTSD, grief, depression, anger. One of my goals is to create establish trust, respect, empathy but also the belief in what you say will be heard.
Make people feel important and that their life matters to them.
Help them see that life can be different for the good but only if they are able to
put in the effort put change in practice. I am a very interactive person in my therapy sessions but not over talking to the point where my patient is not heard.
Through building empathy, I work on seeing things from other people's perspective and and that is how I can connect with people. Through a positive relational interaction and belief in the clients this I hope this invites the potential clients to reach out to me.
