Village Support Therapy and Consulting is a dedicated group mental health practice committed to providing culturally responsive and trauma-centered outpatient care for historically underserved communities. Our goal is to be a force in eliminating the stigma around seeking mental health treatment in the black community and other communities of color by increasing representation and access to mental health providers of color and utilizing clinical strategies that are effective for BIPOC.
We use a multi-model approach in our work and strive to be person centered. We focus on providing trauma informed care and take a bottom-up approach when addressing trauma. Some models we specialize in include EMDR, CBT, narrative therapy, racial trauma therapy, short term crisis therapy and exposure therapy.
At Village Support Therapy & Consulting, we strive to make therapy as personalized and accessible as possible. Accordingly, we operate on a hybrid model, offering both in-office and remote video options.
