VIRTUAL VISITS-Telehealth. We specialize in sessions via the internet on high encrypted, Hipaa Compliant systems (similar to FaceTime, Skype, etc.) It allows for same day sessions for clients who are not able to make it into one of our physical locations. Clients can use their phones, tablets, laptops, and PC's. I'm mostly telehealth, with in person options on Mondays. I help clients honor their past, find their voice, and create their future. It's important that my clients feel valued and respected. I am a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS-S) and approved supervisor, seeing patients in person and via telehealth. I offer individual, family, and group therapy at my practice. I am regularly inspired by the individuals and families I see for therapy, and am humbled by the fact I am someone with whom they choose to share their greatest pain, their deepest secrets, and meaningful epiphanies about the world in which they live. To begin, Distance Counseling is offered for clients who cannot make face to face sessions. I believe barriers seldom produce opportunities for change. On another note, I am usually asked, what person is best suited or needs counseling? Honestly, there are many ways and templates (Word document and Google Search) geared to answer this question. Those methods sound enticing. Yet, they operate from the focus of a proprietor. Another clinician may indicate the best suited clients are willing and committed. Joleena is Certified in the Treament of Sexual Addiction, is a Certified Betrayal Trauma Coach, a Certified Clinical Trauma and Addiction Specialist, with a Masters of Psychology in Grief Counseling, and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. Joleena specializes in helping couples working through betrayal and addiction of all kinds. She also works with clients that are struggling with anxiety, addictive behaviors, depression, PTSD, emotional abuse, mental abuse and trauma of various kinds. Her passion is to provide a safe space for her clients and to walk hand-in-hand with them, guiding them through the healing process.

I strive to provide a safe space for all clients to explore the issues bringing them to therapy and what underlies those issues. As a multicultural/relational therapist identities that are important to you provide a background for therapy (race, religion, culture, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, political affiliations, gender identity, gender, sex, ableness, etc.) as those identities make up who you are. Relationships and how you relate with others are also important. I treat anxiety, depression, grief/loss, phases of life issues, family issues, women's issues and men's issues. I am also a sex and gender specialist.

My ideal clients are adults (ages 25-38) struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, mild depression, and phase of life changes. My clients are navigating new chapters in their lives, including career changes, dating/marriage relationships, and changing family dynamics. They are motivated for change and open to feedback and alternative perspectives. They are seeking a telehealth-only therapist for added scheduling flexibility, confidentiality, and transportability.
