In the creation of films, tv shows, video games, and other mediums, storyboards are used to show potential events of a story, a “rough draft” in images of what is going to happen. Some panels on a storyboard are locked in and cannot be changed. However, there are many elements of a story that can evolve and change in its making.

From an early age I have had a passion for people that has driven me to engage people in the world they live in. I have a deep desire to help others find hope and healing as they deal with the struggles of life. Many of my clients come into treatment due to past traumas. Often they have struggled with many past traumatic relationships or significant past traumatic events. Many of them are just starting to figure out what past trauma has been doing to them. Their mind has created protective filters that change the way they see people and the world they live in. Others are ready for reprocessing and putting that traumatic past behind them. Some of my clients are coming for help with relationship issues, such as family or marital struggles.

I utilize a straight-forward and honest approach to therapy and I am direct in identifying real-life solutions to the presenting issues. I am an experienced counselor and I am often able to connect with and form positive relationships with those who are resistant to counseling or skeptical of the counseling process. I have found humor to be quite productive in treatment and will implement it often. I have experience in treating issues such as (but not limited to): depression, anxiety, PTSD/trauma, ADHD, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, anger issues, parenting concerns, and marriage/couples issues.

As a counselor Jeff enjoys working with pre-teens, teens and adults doing both individual and couples counseling. Jeff also specializes in working with men's issues including sexual integrity/addictions. Realizing the courage that it takes to first come into counseling, he strives to create a comfortable and caring experience for his clients. Using an approach called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Jeff journeys alongside his clients empowering them to live out the life they desire to live and serving as a compassionate guide along the way.
