I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with a masters in counseling education from the University of Miami. My areas of specialization include the treatment of: anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, adoptive and birth family issues, infertility and emotional issues, adolescent and young adult problems, sexual abuse, and divorce counseling. The primary focus of my practice is providing professional counseling that will restore emotional and mental stability. I use an approach that is based on genuine trusting relationships with my clients.
I specialize in couples, families, and individual counseling. Using cognitive, behavioral, and solution focused therapies my clients are better able to explore different outcomes to their problems. I treat depression, anxiety, intimacy and infidelity issues, PTSD, sexual abuse, divorce counseling and so much more.
My practice focuses on working together with the client to help them meet their goals and move forward in their lives with stronger coping mechanisms. Warmth, understanding, acceptance, and a respect for the individual is what makes my practice unique.
