Sometimes the best way your parent or parents raised you did not match your needs or your emotional personality. I believe each person is able to identify their needs when properly supported. My main focus when working with clients is to develop an understanding of their main strengths as well as areas that were not supported by their parents' parenting style. Our work together will focus on improving your overall understanding of your potentialities and will support your efforts at achieving them.
My specialty lies on assisting my clients in removing obstacles to their personal growth by identifying behavioral and emotional constructs that presently limit their ability to enjoy life in a full and satisfying manner.
I believe it is difficult to fully enjoy life without ascribing a meaning to one's existence. Nowadays the change of locus of attention from the personal to the public may cause detrimental conditions to the fulfillment of one's own destiny. Parents sometimes wish their babies would come with a manual with guidance, explanation and tips on how to approach challenging issues related to raising a good, decent and happy child. This group was created with caring parents in mind. I will address common issues faced by the majority of parents: How do I best meet my child's needs? Do technological devices, such as TV and cell phones, impact my child's development? Am I the only parent that does not know what to do?
