I obtained my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy at Argosy University. I specialize in youth and family therapy, in Lakewood, CO. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. I hold certificates in systemic Art, Play, and Sandplay therapy. I earned my Bachelor's in Human Services with an emphasis in Rehabilitative Counseling and minors in Art and Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado. I have a passion for providing an outlet for individuals to have a safe place to grow and reach their full potential.
With diverse experience in the acute treatment of mental health disorders, detox, court-mandated, residential, and transitional units, I have found my niche and passion in helping children, teens, individuals, couples, and families with a variety of issues, such as anxiety, relational conflict, substance abuse, OCD, and trauma.
I have a passion for the treatment of behavioral issues, OCD, anxiety, substance abuse, and trauma. I use system-based approaches, expressive arts, and mindfulness therapy in the treatment of various presenting issues. I am trained in exposure and response prevention and experiential therapy to assist clients in helping themselves overcome obstacles.
