My interventions are evidence based with the goal of empowering others to better understand the origins of their issues and to make meaningful changes, regardless of diagnostic labels. I believe everyone deserves to be assisted and supported to live to their full potential and particularly enjoy working with those who have experienced complex trauma from childhood and relationship experiences. I welcome veterans and military families, those in the LGBTQIA+ community, and people seeking to integrate or discuss faith in treatment.

I work with individuals and couples on topics such as life transitions, anger management, challenges at work or school, grief, identity, and more. I particularly enjoy working with working professionals, college students, women, and men in midlife, helping them adjust to new life stages and navigate the many stressors that come with this aspect of life.

My ideal client would be anyone that is in need and receptive to accepting the help that they have initiated. The client would be engaging in session, honest, motivated, and willing to be held accountable for their actions, reactions, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. They would be willing to hear things that they may not initially agree with or fully understand but interested in learning how to change the negative aspects that they have sought change for.

Most people are Inherently "good," try to act this way, and don't know why this does not result in success, happiness. We will work to learn what interferes: Learning, health, life-stages, guilt, genetics, self-sabotage, traumas. You will make changes to free yourself from the past, so that future choices DO result in success, joy, peace. Since toddlers, we seek to be accepted, be useful; aware of this, you can meet your goals. Seeking help is bravely taking a risk, understandably causing many to be anxious at the 1st session.
