I’ve known from a young age that I wanted to be a counselor and was excited to learn that I could earn a living doing something that comes so naturally. I’ve always enjoyed observing human behavior, offering a new perspective, and taking part in someone’s journey towards growth. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology, and master’s degree in counseling from the University of North Texas. I co-founded Luv On the Move with my husband, Stephen (LPC-A) to provide mental health services in our community. We work with individuals and couples on issues including self-esteem, communication, life transitions and relationships.

I specialize in addictions (both adult and adolescent) and parent child relationships with teenagers. I work with young adults in helping them transition from high school to college to adult life. I have also had a great deal of experience working with victims of sexual abuse (both adult and adolescent). I believe in helping people define what they want and help them figure out a plan to work towards that goal. As a therapist who has formerly worked in full time ministry I also enjoy working with people who are dealing with religious issues whether it is deconstruction or helping them develop the spiritual life they want.

I enjoy helping others identify daily stressors, major life goals, and personal strengths. I provide assessment, therapy and education around mental health diagnosis and other concerns. For therapy: I have a passion to work with adolescents, young adults, women's issues, maternal and perinatal concerns, divorce, relationships concerns and career goals. For assessments: I like to complete children, adolescent and adult assessments in the areas of learning disabilities, career, employee and general assessments. I can provide a full service of administration, scoring and reporting of psychological tests and assessments.

I know it can be a difficult decision to seek therapy. I am committed to providing compassionate and non-judgmental support by providing a safe space for clients to open up. I work with adults struggling with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, trauma, severe mental illness, and ADHD. I believe that it is important to feel heard, understood, and safe while working together. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR. I have experience in working with police, EMS, grief/bereavement, life stage transitions, career issues, and suicidal ideation.

I provide an integrated approach to counseling by understanding the whole person and helping them to self-actualize through positive psychology and exploring the connection of their thoughts and emotions to their behaviors.

I'm Mycah Smith, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Associate, and my passion is to provide support and compassion for couples and families as they navigate the trials of life and relationships. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, self-worth, abuse, relationships, marital issues, and blended families.

In my 35+ years of counseling I have been fortunate to work with a wide variety of people with a wide variety of issues in a wide variety of settings. My broad goal in counseling is to foster positive change in others. I believe my success in working with people has been my ability to be adaptable and open when relating to the person, group, or family I am trying to assist. I listen to identify the present issues and the possible history of these issues. I employ an eclectic approach in therapy using the tools to promote change.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 13 years of clinical experience. I’ve provided counseling for many different populations at various levels of care, including adults and adolescents struggling with Addiction, Alcohol Use, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Anger Management, Child Abuse or Neglect, Dual Diagnosis, Relapse Prevention, Substance Use, and Stress. I use a mix of Attachment-based, CBT, Client-Centered Therapy, Family Systems, Trauma Focused, Strength-Based, Narrative, and Person-Centered. I believe that having to navigate through my struggles, I can relate to feeling hopeless which enables me to help.

Tiffany L. Owen is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2021. Tiffany offers a relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere. She listens and guides her clients to help them come to healthy, positive conclusions to the issues that are negatively impacting their lives. Tiffany guides by teaching behavior techniques and coping skills to her clients so that they are more apt to manage the negative issues in their lives. Tiffany is an active, avid listener and gives a lot of feedback. Outside of work, Tiffany is an avid movie and TV watcher and quotes many lines from movies and shows.

When envisioning my ideal client, I am looking forward to working with men, women or children who are seeking to better their lives. My potential clients’ goals can be diverse, from reducing feelings of anxiety to improving quality of life by dealing with depressive feelings. It could also be working through trauma or difficult life situations such as illness, moving to a different state or even having kids and expanding one’s family. In my practice I encourage my clients to think for themselves, I do not give them the answers but instead, I help them reach their own realizations and provide tools to use in day to day situations.

Dana Waknin LPC-A, bilingual in both English and Hebrew, earned her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science from the Tel Aviv-Yaffo academic college in Israel, followed by her graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Capella University, focusing on Clinical Counseling. Dana has trained in a crisis inpatient facility and has experience working with depression, anxiety and other life changes and transitions. In addition, Dana has had experience working with young children and their families and is working towards expanding her expertise in family and play therapy.

Joy Miller-Eugene is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas who has experience partnering with children, adults, couples, and families seeking help with a wide range of challenges that come with impairment of daily positive functioning. She received her B. S in Psychology and Child Learning and Development as well as her M. S in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She utilizes relational, collaborative and solution focused approaches in order to best meet client need at the present time.

Jennifer Gonzalez, LPC Jennifer Gonzalez is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2013. She has a BA in Psychology and an MS in Psychology from an accredited University in Marriage and Family Therapy. From a clinical perspective Jennifer helps her clients by using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive behavioral therapy. She is, however, trained in many other therapeutic modalities. Jennifer's primary focus is to build a relationship with her client and use a person-centered approach where they discuss and address the problems they wish to address.
