My joy is to help you identify or rediscover your purpose, reprocess past traumas, enjoy singleness, overcome depression, break-ups, and other obstacles. I hope to help you form healthy relationships via pre-engagement and pre-marital, marital, family, and peer relationships counseling. I have a "soft spot" for seeing international, and grad students succeed while maintaining a healthy balance and staying culturally relevant.

Hello. My name is Ime Caldwell (she/her). I am LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. I especially have a passion for working with adoptees and those who are/were in foster care. I work with adolescents and their families and young adults. I am a trauma informed therapist who utilizes an integrative method of therapy based on my clients needs.

I currently see clients ages 12 and older via teletherapy who have been affected by adoption, foster care, infertility, maternal mental health, and/or attachment.

Accepting new patients two weeks out. Trauma from adoption, adverse childhood experiences, unhealthy attachment, difficult family dynamics, depression, divorce, military trauma, pain management typically result in difficulty making choices, unhealthy relationships and high anxiety. Getting relief may seem impossible. I am a certified EMDR (trauma) therapist who has years of experience in helping clients find a safer, calmer quality of life. I believe at one point or another everyone is in need of therapy and it should be a shame-free and non-judgmental environment. I can provide individual, family, marriage and/or premarital therapy. I am formally trained in TF-CBT, PCIT, EMDR and Adoption Competency. I can provide pre- and post-adoption services.

Marilyn employs CBT, Brief solution focused, Eclectic treatment approaches. Also, Marilyn has been instructing parents on moving children from power struggles to cooperation & peace for 21 years.
