The world is not built for kind, empathic people. It can wear you down fast and even faster without the right skills. Stress builds up and becomes anxiety: your mind runs amok with worry and doubt. You question your worth. You relive trauma- did you deserve it? Were they right about you? Why did it happen? Relationships are difficult because they require trust and vulnerability.
