Finding the right therapist/therapy for your struggles is very challenging. If you suffer from problems with anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive thoughts/behaviors (see ocdintensive.com), or impulse control problems (such as hair pulling, skin picking) then the therapy that's been found in research to be the most effective is Cognitive-behavioral therapy. I have extensive experience and training using Cognitive-behavioral therapy to that these problems.
I am a clinical psychologist in private practice and most recently a therapist at Columbia University Medical Center's OCD Research Clinic using the latest Cognitive-behavioral therapy protocol to treat Obsessive-compulsive Disorder. In addition I incorporate mindfulness and acceptance-based techniques to maximize effectiveness.
