I believe that all individuals will encounter a time in their lives when they will be facing some form of hardship, conflict, or distress. The ability for someone to recognize that they cannot go it alone and need a partner to assist them in navigating life situations is where I come into play. I believe that individuals can make the changes necessary in their lives with the proper supports and skills provided through counseling. Individuals who are ready to put in the work needed to navigate this life are the ones who will succeed.

Deadlines, demands, sickness. It feels like you can’t keep up. Everyone wants a piece of you and there is not enough to go around. You are exhausted and your mind won't shut off. The What if's overwhelm you... "What if I am not good enough? What if I let everyone down?" Your family, your job, your friends are counting on you. You may wonder, "When is it about what I need?" only to feel selfish and guilty about that too.

Providing a safe space, being entrusted with vulnerability, and bearing witness to healing is an awe inspiring and mutually rewarding experience. Therefore, a good relationship is the first priority in therapy. Christine realizes that successful treatment begins with a strong therapeutic rapport. This focus allows clients to feel safe and understood, which is a strong catalyst for progress towards healing and achieving goals. Positive results can only occur once a therapeutic alliance is developed.

I believe that therapy is a journey and my job as a therapist is to join each client on their personal exploration. My role, as a therapist, is to provide guided support for each person to find the growth path that best meets their needs and goals in a safe and encouraging environment. I see clients of all ages and diagnosis but during my training have focused on youth and I have trained as a Certified Youth Trauma Professional and believe in using play therapy for children to process the traumas they have experienced.
