Greetings! My name is Nadra DeMagnus and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from New Orleans, Louisiana. I have been providing psychotherapy and relationship coaching for more than ten years. I have worked with large groups, military families, indigenous people of Alaska, youth and young adults in schools, agency, and private settings, adults, and geriatrics from across these United States of America. Approaches utilized: Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution and Trauma-Focused Therapy.

I work well with individuals ages 10 & up, couples and families. I am trained in the treatment of eating disorders and reIated concerns. I have also worked with many couples with marital and other relationship concerns, and I have worked with many families dealing with divorce, substance abuse and parenting concerns. I have also worked with individuals on a variety of issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, emotional and behavioral concerns, academic concerns, relationship concerns, anger management and codependency.

Within this framework, I often work in the areas of dysfunctional families, and individuals who are struggling to manage aggressive, angry, depressive, and anxious behaviors. I am experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults. A variety of issues are addressed throughout the counseling process: including, but not limited to, communication skills, anger management, suicidal ideation, and mood and anxiety disorders. Currently, I work as a LMHP with a community base health center, as well.
