I love working with people to help them learn and grow from what they discover in therapy. I have done individual, family and group counseling over the last 13 years. I have recently been working with early adolescents in a school- based setting helping them with issues specific to their age group such as: self esteem, communication skills, conflict resolution, anger management, stress management, managing depression and thoughts of self harm, helping anxiety through using mindfulness and self reflection and gender identity issues. I have also have 10 years of experience in working with adults 18 and up to work on various issues.

I specialize in working with families and individuals. Much of my practice centers around family issues such as divorce and blended families. Children and adolescents comprise much of my practice. An additional component of my practice is providing Supervised Visitation services. Visits are planned by the parent. Activities consist of those that the children will enjoy.

I have experience working with adults, young children, couples, and families. I focus on a variety of areas, including anxiety, PTSD, depression, grief, relationship issues, parenting, and more. For me, the main goal of counseling is for the client to discover what is important in their life as an individual and to focus on self-improvement.

I will start out each new journey with a thorough intake interview to get a complete mental health history, which hopefully allows me to get to know you pretty well. From there we can look at your present concerns and set some short and long term goals.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience treating trauma, depression, anxiety, and other life challenges. I utilize animal assisted therapy with my beloved dog Gracie, who loves connecting with our clients. In addition to my therapy practice I offer intuitive connection sessions.
