I am Norma Venable a Licensed Professional Counselor who has over 25 years of counseling experience and love helping others! My priority is to provide a therapeutic relationship in a safe, nonjudgmental, and confidential environment so you feel comfortable discussing your truth. My person-centered & integrative approach is customized to your specific needs. I utilize counseling from a positive, holistic, strength-based perspective of hope and growth through self-awareness and insights. I believe each of us is a unique individual with several differences that make us who we are so only we know the best solutions for ourselves.

As a therapist, I enjoy helping individuals and families reach their full potential and overcome obstacles. I encourage clients to learn new skills in therapy, gain insight and learn to collaborate with me, their families, and other important individuals in their lives. I have experience working with young children, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety and SPD. While working with parents, I respect them as the expert on their children, while providing insight based on experience and knowledge of current research. With young children, I use play therapy to help facilitate communication between the child and the therapist.

For over 25 years, I have been offering spiritual companioning & guidance to spiritual seekers. I often serve as: 1) a guide during difficult life transitions, 2) guiding integration of spiritual life with life in the world of work and relationships 3) helping people find more love, joy, and spontaneity in life 4) clarification of your highest purpose and alignment with that purpose 5) deepening of your sense of spiritual awareness, 6) a path to awakening to embodied non-dual consciousness. I am thrilled to work with adults and adolescents 14+ (in particular adults 40+) who are looking to improve their mental health by building deep understanding of their holistic wellbeing. My ideal clients look into their past with me and explore the events that made them who they are in the present. They thrive in a relaxed and unstructured environment and welcome the non-linear progress of therapy. I love clients who are trying therapy for the first time or have had poor experiences with prior therapists. For adolescents, I offer the same client-driven work, mirroring the process of adult therapy.
