I understand the value of knowing where a client comes from and where they have been in order to collaboratively develop interventions and approaches that are safe, effective and familiar. I believe that in order to truly help clients they, and I, must understand the context in which they live and learn and that the work we do in the clinical room must be transferable to their everyday life. Many of my clients are seeking guidance on how to engage in and maintain healthy relationships.

I provide a supportive and therapeutic space to help people experience healing, growth, and confidence when stress or traumatic situations have been overwhelming. After spending 14 years learning about the human brain and mind, was trained extensively in various treatments, and working since 2009 at almost all settings, I learned to focus on what you personally struggle with. There are much more to us than having a disorder. Therefore, I listen to you and know you well in order to tailor the treatment plan that fits you the most. My end goal, besides eliminating the undesirable symptoms, is helping you finding your own path and having a better quality of life. I also teach graduate students what they need to know to make the right diagnosis and apply the best most optimal treatment for it.

I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy. D.), a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology, and 7 years of experience working as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). I have conducted treatment for individuals, couples, families, and groups. I have extensive expertise in clinical psychopharmacology, which enables me to comprehend the biological foundations of diseases. I have experience working with both adolescents and adults to address a wide range of illnesses. I take a holistic approach to counseling, which means that in addition to ACT, DPT, CBT, and mindfulness, I use a combination of other techniques.

The facility is located on a main street with free parking. This is a private practice with a private waiting room in a very comfortable & soothing setting. Look for the yellow house with raspberry trim. Hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. When you call, we will do a brief intake, verify your insurance benefits & schedule your first appointment. We do not have a waiting list and can schedule your first appointment within the same week.
