Others are actively experiencing challenges in their life and are open to receiving support, while still others are in real pain, and are looking for relief and help with that.

Healing is an inside job--that happens in a safe interpersonal context. Instead of just talking about problems, we can greet them as empowering, transformative opportunities for healing and growth. Aloha! In my practice, I often encounter clients grappling with burnout, emptiness, and a lack of fulfillment in their lives. Physical ailments, particularly in the core: stomach, chest, back, and upper body, are common manifestations of unresolved emotional issues. Clients seek my assistance in addressing these ailments, as well as issues with life purpose, feelings of not fitting in, and a desire for understanding. My clients include visionaries, entrepreneurs, therapists/healers, empaths, light beings, and individuals with high emotional intelligence.

My approach is centered around Mindfulness, Self-compassion, and Empowerment, helping clients to make positive changes in their lives. I’m passionate about helping clients to take the best possible care of themselves, clearing limiting beliefs and healing traumatic wounds. I have been helping couples for the last decade in my private practice manage their conflict in healthier, more effective ways. I am now offering in person couple's retreats on the Island of Maui. We will take a deep dive into your relationship and learn what your blocks are and if we can begin to remove them or learn how to navigate them. You will also leave with a plan on how to maintain this new way of connecting with one another over the months and years to come. Aloha! Seeking help for struggles can be difficult. Just know that you have made the most important step in creating your life the way you want it. Life can present many challenges; with the right support these can be incredible opportunities to grow. Starting therapy is the beginning of a journey to find a more connected and fulfilling relationship to ourselves, others and the world we live in. Each of us, deep down, hold our own answers to the issues we face. Sometimes we need an objective listener to ask new questions, suggest new skills, be supportive and coach us through tough times.

I am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and graduated with honors earning a Doctorate in Nursing Practice through the University of Hawaii at Hilo. I specialized in Family Nursing Practice, with a focus on transcultural care for people of all ages. I hold additional mental health certifications through Evergreen Certifications: a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, and Integrative Mental Health Certification. As a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher I will practice mindful moments with you and teach you how to blend it into your daily life.

Aloha! I am certified in Brainspotting (BSP), which is a proven modality that quickly and permanently heals trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, as well as many other issues. I have also been trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is a proven modality to help trauma survivors. I have also been trained in art therapy and Neurofeedback. He has over a decade of experience working across cultures with a focus, but not limited to trauma, depression, anxiety, racism, and healing from abuse. I have worked with numerous cultures from Indigenous cultures to cultures from nearly every continent.

I work with individuals, and relationships and people that struggle to effectively communicate their needs. Because of how they were brought up, or conditioned through experience, they might have vastly different ways of showing up in relationships, especially through conflict. We all want to work on what drives our behavior so that we can better understand ourselves and each other. This allows us to be vulnerable with one another and experience our real selves, so we can connect and love on a much deeper and more meaningful and satisfying level.
