In her many years of leadership experience, she has developed a passion for supervising and training up quality mental health professionals. I’m a Bilingual “Spanish and English” African American/Black Psychological Therapist with a Doctorate Degree. I work with all client ages, backgrounds, and behavioral needs. With an in-depth understanding of psychological disorders, treatment techniques, diagnosis, interventions, and referrals. This includes performing assessment and psychological testing with multiple disciplinary teams in Primary Care, Integrated Care and mental health settings. I provide solution to problems by using client’s strengths to combat challenges. I integrate the role of the mind, body, and spirit in therapy.

It is my belief that counseling is one of the most overlooked and underutilized tools to finding healing from life and gaining a clearer picture of our true selves. Having personally overcome loss and tragedy to get here, I have experienced first-hand how trained professionals can help us find our ways past such obstacles. I have worked for years as a speech therapist specializing in helping children with disabilities and different abilities to master the skills necessary to succeed. I have also served as a missionary to Kenya, and I continue to work with the disadvantaged both locally and abroad.

I enjoy doing all types of therapy for all different issues to include depression, anxiety, addiction/substance use and abuse, health and wellness, grief, trauma, parental alienation, developmental challenges, autism spectrum disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, codependency, work stress and relationship conflict. I work with people to identify treatment goals and create a treatment regimen that fits their needs which includes psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, behavior modification, interpersonal therapy, sport psychology and coaching.

I've been practicing in the Valley for over 23 years.
