Hi! My name is Alisa Swenson, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am generally laid back in my approach and want our work together to be conversational and focused on what you see your goals as being instead of what I think that they should be. Therapy should be collaborative, and I appreciate feedback on whether you think something is working or not. I have a lot of experiences with children, teens, and adults and focus mostly on depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and parenting/family issues.

I am in recovery and my focus has been with men, women and their families to recover from addiction. My approach to therapy is to meet every client where they are at and treat them as an individual. I began my counseling career as a mental health therapist working with children and families. I have been working as a mental health therapist for 5 years. I work primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions.
