I also have a special interest and experience helping adults, young adults, and high school students struggling with life transitions (college, adulthood etc.), performance and relationships. I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been in practice for over 15 years. Prior to being in private practice I worked in Hospital, Hospice and Homecare settings. I also help my clients to identify lies, process where they came from, and replace them with truth to transform their thought lives and belief systems.

Often times, we continue to see our past traumas show up in our present life through difficulties like trouble sleeping, anxiety, fear of trying new things, depression, and feeling “stuck”. Our therapists utilize EMDR to help move past those “stuck memories” while also improving a greater sense of self and hope for the future. Stressful events can become stuck in our memory networks and like a scratched CD, continue to replay over and over again. The emotional impact of the memories is re-experienced every time they are remembered, because the flight, fight or freeze response is continually being activated.

I offer in person and online counseling for women who have experienced narcissistic abuse, as well as EMDR for anxiety & trauma. On the outside, you look like you have it all together, but on the inside you feel like you are falling apart.
