Hi there! My name is Amberly Ellis and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. I approach counseling from an integrative, attachment-based, and interpersonal neurobiology lens, recognizing the link between behavior, the nervous system, and interpersonal connection. I believe the behaviors children and teens display are merely their way of communicating a need - a need to connect, a need to be known, a need to be heard, and a need for felt safety. It is my goal to not just help my clients “fix the problem,” but to help build understanding, connection, and a victorious mind.

I primarily work with women and youth who have experiences of trauma, symptoms of depression and/or anxiety, dealing with the effects of chronic health conditions, and navigating the impact of these struggles on their faith journey. ​Often your situation feels hopeless, and I am here to walk with you through it. Hi! My name is Sara Brisbois and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I counsel using an integrative and interpersonal approach. I believe everyone has things that come up throughout life that they need help working through. I also believe that a therapeutic relationship alone can be incredibly healing and helpful. By creating that therapeutic relationship, I am then able to personalize therapy to best suit each client and meet them where they are through a variety of approaches.

I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Truett McConnell University and my Master’s of Arts in Professional Counseling from Truett McConnell University. Since graduation, I have worked at an inpatient addiction and rehab center providing individual and group counseling to men and women who struggle with the disease of addiction.
