As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, I’ve worked with folx from diverse backgrounds in various states of crisis, grief, health, and growth while navigating oppressive systems that often require folx to show up in certain ways to get what they need. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to show up wholly and fully as yourself – where you don’t feel the need to hide parts of your identity out of fear of not being accepted as you are. In working together, my hope is that I can help you to define and own your story.
There are so many stories that we tell ourselves (or that others tell us) about who we are, who we have been, who we can or can’t be, who we should be – it can all become paralyzing and keep us from living authentically. By fostering a safe and affirmative space for you to unpack and reflect, I will support you in reclaiming your narrative.
My hope is to offer you tools, strategies, and resources that provide immediate and tangible solutions – whether we are dealing with big complicated crises, deep-rooted trauma (and accompanying trauma responses), or the seemingly small things that irritate you. I look forward to connecting with you and feel honored to be a part of your story/journey.
