I work with adults specializing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, feeding and food issues, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from the College of Wooster and my master's degree in social work from Case Western Reserve University. I have had specific training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders and EMDR. Prior to joining the Counseling and Wellness Group, I gained clinical experience in the residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient levels of care.
I am passionate about helping moms navigate the various changes that can occur during pregnancy, as well as after birth. I believe in utilizing validation of emotions and will incorporate DBT skills into therapy. I try accept my clients where they are in their treatment while also encouraging them to change.
