I am a trauma specialist committed to helping you survive and thrive after crisis, trauma or in times of stress. I am passionate about serving the first responder, military, veteran, medical & LGBTQ+ communities. I will provide support when you are struggling, push you when you need it & help you use your strengths to find your own unique solutions to move forward in your life. I combine real-world experience & clinical training in managing crisis, stress & trauma symptoms. My work focuses on building strength & resiliency through a variety of practical techniques, along with EMDR therapy.
I am a trauma specialist, but I also specialize in mood and borderline personality disorders. I believe in a straightforward, collaborative approach to treatment built on honesty & humor. My focus in sessions is on helping you identify & build on your strengths to develop creative & realistic goals to your concerns.
I began as a first responder in 2005 & have been in private practice as a nationally certified therapist since 2017. I have a PhD in psychology & I am a certified trauma professional, & I am trained in solution-focused, mindfulness-based & EMDR therapies.
