My previous work includes inpatient/residential and outpatient substance use treatment, child and adolescent therapy both outpatient and community based (In-Home), as well as family and marriage counseling.
Focusing on the strengths of the individual, I utilize solution focused (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT) techniques with a strong attention to communication skill development. I enjoy taking a person-centered approach that allows each client to utilize their strengths.
