This is a hard time full of fear, hopelessness, and anxiety. Sometimes we get stuck and need someone outside our circle to help us figure things out. I help people to more deeply understand and change negative or addictive behaviors that are dramatically impacting their lives. Relationships can be complicated, and trying to find different ways to communicate can feel like a mystery. I work with people struggling with addictions, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental, compassionate environment where we will work together to explore areas that are causing pain, and we will find new ways to cope.
I believe that much of the key to happiness and leading a fulfilling life is to learn how to live in the present and find deep meaning through the life we're given. Though addiction is my focus, I've also worked to help people solve relationship conflicts and improve lines of communication. Much of my style is through talk therapy and utilizing mindfulness.
I am warm, humorous, and easy to connect with, and I operate under the belief that we must understand what drives us in order to begin to change. I have an additional Master's degree in World Religions. If you are interested, I am open to exploring spiritual beliefs and struggles, because I have often seen that finding meaning provides profound relief.
