Making the decision to enter into therapy can feel overwhelming and at times, very intimidating for many people. Regardless of how big or small you feel a problem is, we can all use a little help and outside perspective sometimes. As a solution focused therapist, my goal is to collaborate with my clients in helping them identify what they would like to change, and make a plan to do so as quickly as possible. My goal is to assist you in living a more satisfying and fulfilling life.
I have a specialization in trauma (particularly rape/sexual assault) and use EMDR often in my work. I believe that through establishing both physical and emotional safety, the process of healing can begin. I also specialize in working with couples and have completed Level 3 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, working towards certification.

Groups
Interpersonal Process Group
In this group members will share in a weekly interpersonal process with other adults who are exploring themselves and their patterns of relating to others. Members will deepen their understanding of their emotional patterns, work on their relationship skills and increase their awareness of how they impact others, whether at work, among friends or in intimate relationships. Members will also be expected to witness each other's process, providing honest feedback, support and helping each other to recognize their strengths and the dynamics that can act as obstacles to forming effective and rewarding connections in their lives.
