Our experiences impact the way we see the world. Symptoms often emerge as attempts to adapt. In the context of a supportive therapeutic relationship, we can look at the parts of your life that are no longer serving you. In therapy, I will help you express your thoughts and feelings and listen to you on multiple levels. At times, I may call attention to your here-and-now experience.
I have particular experience working with internalizing issues such as depression, anxiety, anger, self-esteem issues, and perfectionism. I also welcome couples in my practice and have completed a post-graduate training program in couples therapy through the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.
By gaining insight into not only the concerns that brought you to therapy but also yourself, you will be freer to make choices that align with your goals. My aim is to help you feel better at work, love, and play, and to face life's ups and downs with resilience and freedom.
