In my first counseling session, I was the client. I experienced firsthand how life-changing therapy can be. I fell in love with the work of understanding the complexities of emotions and the further discovering our mind-body connections. As a therapist, my goal is to use my knowledge, skills, and experience to establish a person-centered, strength-based approach to therapy while maintaining a safe, non-judgmental environment for all of my clients. I specialize working with clients of all ages experiencing anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, and trauma.
My counseling style blends EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and strength-based approach. I am also fluent with CBT and DBT therapy techniques. I enjoying working with individuals from all backgrounds. Upon request, I provide Christian faith-based services.
