With more than 15 years experience in the mental health field, I try to show my transparency and human-ness in session. I believe that we all struggle with something in life. I also believe that we can all benefit from additional support- a listening ear and guidance on how to address our concerns in a healthier way. We all have the ability to change if we have the strength to acknowledge our flaws and learn new skills to grow. I provide a judgement free zone where I can hold space for an individual to feel comfortable sharing their most difficult wounds. I try my best to meet the client where they are at in their life.
I try to consider all aspects of an individuals life; discussing medical conditions, sleep patterns and diet. We discuss their environment and setting healthy boundaries. Developing a healthy support system & coping skills are key to an individuals success. I focus on CBT & holistic approaches. I provide handouts & community resources for extra support.
I am trained in the TREE program through Resilient Lehigh Valley. I will be certified in Faith Based Trauma Healing, connecting my 2 passions of therapy and faith. I use my book "I am loving the me that I'm choosing to be" to offer free programs in schools to teach children about developing a healthy mindset. I'm developing a domestic violence task force.
