| Português I am an immigrant from Brazil, and a native Portuguese speaker. I believe in helping people make sense of their world, especially when they feel foreign or as if they do not belong. I have experience working with children, teenagers and adults of a variety of backgrounds. My interests include working in a psychodynamic, client-centered approach and I specialize in adjustment, depression, and anxiety disorders. I conduct sessions in both English and Portuguese.
I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master's Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Madonna University. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Art Therapy from Marygrove College.
In the past I attended Oakland Community College where I graduated with two Associate's Degrees, one in Mental Health/Social Work and one in Liberal Arts.
