Life has recently shown me that curveballs are bound to happen with no warning whatsoever. COVID-19 was a clear example of that. This past years have shown me just how quickly life can be derailed and how pivotal it is for mental health professionals like myself to exist. I have spent the last year working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, biomedical issues, their various relationships, traumas from the past and present, family matters, and substance use.
My primary experience has been with individuals 18 and over. When it comes to my therapeutic practice, I make use of various approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality/Choice Therapy, Existentialism, and Positive Psychology. I am always taking the time to learn new methods, as to how to be of better service.
It is no secret that sharing emotions, thoughts, and struggles can be a herculean effort. Allow me the opportunity to meet you halfway and provide that outlet. That third party individual that won't judge you but will tell you what you need to hear not what is believed you want to hear. Allow us to go on an adventure together, with you as the storyteller.
