My name is Victor Ingram. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a strengths-based approach to therapy. I focus on the client strengths and resilience to assist with coping with mental and emotional dilemmas. I have experience dealing with male issues, infidelity, low self-confidence, military families, coaching, teaching, and mentoring. I pull from a military, law enforcement, sports, leadership, and business focused background to give a relational approach to my clients.
I offer a results-oriented approach to assist clients with gaining adaptive and resilience skills. I establish a clinical rapport and then move towards challenging behaviors. I am not the ideal therapist for everyone in that I can be succinct and direct in implementing a collaborative approach to help my client achieve their goals.
The first session will involve an introduction by both parties, exchanging backgrounds, and then proceed to discuss the reasons for therapy. I will listen more than talk and give a brief synopsis of my findings. I will create a pathway for the way forward.
