Many individuals I have worked with begin therapy because they are either facing significant challenges in their current lives, are grappling with issues from their past, or encountering difficulties in envisioning a brighter future. Sometimes individuals need assistance with a particular problem they are facing, and sometimes they find it challenging to get through the day despite their efforts. Many have adopted harmful coping strategies such as misusing substances.
The good news is that a brighter future is not only possible, but inevitable when we unlock our inner strengths. Strengths-based therapy has been the core focus of my work with persons experiencing substance use disorders, PTSD, ADHD, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and concerns with body image.
I work with persons from all walks of life, with advanced training on addiction, and counseling other gay or trans men.
