Is your trauma, PTSD, anxiety & grief constantly getting activated? Do you feel like you can never get beyond what has happened to you? Together we will create a warm, compassionate, and understanding environment to help you get in touch and learn how to deal with the rollercoaster of emotions. I have developed a unique approach through building the therapeutic relationship to work with individuals struggling with stress, relationships, depression, anxiety, trauma response, and self- harm. My clinical experience, calm demeanor, and aspiration for trust, help build meaningful relationships with clients through exploration of life.
For trauma-informed care, I use Deep Brain Reorienting, ACT, EMDR & Fraser‘s table exercise to explore emotional parts; we rewire the brain to overcome intrusive thinking and somatic issues. I use mindfulness practices to help build coping skills. My hope is to empower clients to take steps towards inner peace and mental health well being.
In using trauma informed modalities I can verbally & non-verbally engage, about many things. They often Include daily living concerns, relationships, poor self-esteem, boundary setting, coping skills while recognizing power and control dynamics when interacting with others and addressing negative thinking about the self.
