I believe that one of the most important aspects of seeking professional help is to find someone with whom you can trust and feel comfortable in discussing your issues. As a licensed psychologist for over 30 years, I have successfully counseled numerous individuals and families in resolving difficulties in areas such as effective communication, coping with divorce, work/career issues, loss/grief, and serious chronic health conditions. All of these can lead to anxiety and depression. My goal is to help you to achieve inner peace and balance in your life.
My approach to counseling is cognitive-behavioral and solutions-focused. By changing your thoughts and perceptions, you can change your behavior and the way you feel. I have certifications in clinical and school neuropsychology. In addition, I am trained to treat trauma as a Level 2 EMDR therapist. Telemental health (video conferencing) is also provided.
I have 2 offices for the convenience of my clients. One is in the Stone Oak/Hwy 281/Loop 1604 area of San Antonio and my other office is in Garden Ridge which serves the north San Antonio, Schertz, Selma, New Braunfels, and surrounding cities.
