Connection to ourselves and our true nature unlocks the door to an empowered and meaningful life. Unfortunately, most of us have had the experience of feeling woefully disconnected from our bodies, our emotions, our purpose, and subsequently from other important people in our lives. I want to be a guide on your journey, helping you reconnect to who you are and to assist you in moving forward from a place of intention and empowerment. Connection to your body is a way through, and I can help you learn to trust and decipher your body’s wise messages, release what’s not serving you, and let the healing happen.
My approach is warm, direct, and committed to honoring your hopes and goals. Through that lens, I weave somatic psychotherapy with yoga and talk therapy. I use Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Existential Therapy, and Brainspotting. I am also a registered yoga teacher, trained in using yoga for mental health.
Struggling is hard, and asking for help can be even harder. It takes awareness to recognize something is not working, and it takes a great deal of courage and vulnerability to seek help.
