Hi I'm Vicki Ilundian, LCSW-C. I'm a clinical social worker with client-centric approach to therapy that allows you to use awareness of your mind and body to identify the best methods to address challenging stressors in your life. I have been trained in multiple models of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Oriented /Short Term Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I can work with you to identify the best approaches, and I often blend models to best match your individual needs.
I have warm, and relaxed tone/ approach while also holding us accountable to do the therapeutic work that we agreed to in your therapy goals. Clients have provided feedback that they feel comfortable openly sharing. Clients have also noted that they enjoy the somatic exercises that we do to relax and to help regulate in sessions.
I believe that people should be able to access mental health care throughout their lifetime to allow them to heal, evolve, and thrive in their lives. I was motivated to become a therapist because there is a strong need for access to holistic health care which includes safe, evidence-based mental health care in our communities.
