I am a military veteran with over 12 years of experience working with adults who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and other challenges with everyday life. My goal is to facilitate healing by giving you new skills, coping strategies, and a different way of seeing yourself and the World around you.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing out-patient mental health services in Northern Virginia since 2007. I diagnose and treat a wide range of disorders in adolescents and adults. Rhys graduated from VCU in December of 2021 with a Master of Social Work. While Rhys is open to working with clients of all ages, he has worked extensively with children, adolescents and teens throughout his career. He specializes in working with members of the LBGTQIA+ community.

He is trained in a variety of clinical approaches, with a focus on those treatments that have been scientifically shown to be helpful. In addition to his clinical services, his primary interest is in the field of forensic mental health assessment, primarily in criminal justice contexts.
