Accepting clients Apr 2024. I help couples work their way through crisis events by helping them find their feet amist the chaos. My role is to help couples have difficult conversations. With my background is in probation/parole therapy, I bring strong elements of fairness, repair, and rehabilitation to couples who have faced injuries. Some topics I have strong experience in are: infidelity, bisexuality, addiction, codependency, anger management, emotional availability, parenting approach, and lack of sexual intimacy.

Without judgment, I help clients overcome addictions to alcohol, weed, sex, food, and hard drugs by helping them face the very difficult triggers behind the addictions itself (such as unaddressed depression, trauma, and self esteem, etc; I particularly work with sexual addictions). This approach can be very emotionally difficult, so I recommend only clients who are ready for major life changes apply.

I am confident in my skills as a therapist to help you help yourself. What I would require of you, in turn, is a willingness to search yourself and a willingness to take steps to learn to grow personally. I have worked with many issues from depression, relationship issues (including couples and marital therapy), anxiety issues, stress related issues, co-dependency issues, adjustment issues such as going through a divorce or recovering from a divorce (but not limited to those life events), and loss issues which may include trauma.

My primary focus is to assist emergency responders, dispatchers, and other public safety personnel, military vets, and their families who have experienced a critical incident. Critical incidents can be traumatic to the brain and lead to repetitive images, sounds, and smells that won't go away. Common symptoms are increased startle response, sleep disturbance, nightmares, flashbacks, anxiety, depression and anger outbursts. Sometimes the brain needs help in healing.
