A social worker once saved me and it ignited a fire within my soul to help others who struggle with trauma, women's issues, or suicidal ideation. I am an Air Force veteran, and I am passionate about helping fellow veterans, military members, and first responders. I also work with perinatal mood & anxiety disorders. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) who believes in internal power and strength. It may feel like internal power and strength is non-existent because there are times when situations and circumstances seem to get the best of life. A way of escape may be to indulge in unhealthy habits (such as substances) that make things worse. This is where I can be of assistance because I work with individuals struggling with addictions (ages 18-65). Lacking encouragement and motivation? Is your life filled with doubt? Daily struggles and hardships with decisions in life can result in stress, depression and anxiety. Counseling is the gateway that aids with navigating and understanding how to reach growth and assurance. For 10 years, I’ve supported those who struggle with daily stressors, mental illness and addictions. My experience ranges from working with teens to adults by using a variety of therapeutic techniques. With moral support being vital, I can walk with you through the process of unblocking those barriers that prevent you from growing mentally and spiritually.

I truly enjoy working with my clients on the variety of life's ups and downs. Generally, most of my work is with adults; however, I also see adolescents beginning at 16-years-old. Over the years, I have worked with depression, anxiety, trauma, and some of the more severe mental health problems. My other experience includes working with self-harm and suicidal behaviors, as well as behavior management.
