I am a Marine Corps veteran who wants to give back to my fellow veterans and my community. I'm an advocate for trauma survivors and those that are grieving. I utilize many different treatment styles to help my clients achieve their goals. I have worked as an outpatient counselor in the community setting before opening my private practice.

I am a clinical psychologist, specializing in the evidence-based treatment of anxiety disorders including OCD, panic, phobias, and generalized anxiety across the lifespan. I also have expertise working with military Veterans and with individuals struggling to adjust to serious health-related conditions and their associated challenges.

Life changes are difficult. We all go through things in life that are overwhelming. Some people seeking help are struggling with the loss of a loved one. At the same time, others are dealing with changes in family dynamics and family stressors. My goal is to help address these emotions and experiences. I work with a variety of mental health and emotional issues, including anxiety, anger, depression, relationship transitions, separation/divorce, new marriage, new parents/ step-parents, loss of family member or friend, family of military and active-duty members, and deployment transitions.

I was a professional airplane and helicopter pilot (civilian) before transitioning to a career as a therapist. I flew and worked with many veterans and learned about their struggles after deployment and separating from the military. Some of these challenges were reuniting with family, feelings of isolation, loss of purpose and meaning and moral injury. I also learned about veterans’ resilience as they faced these challenges. Working as a team, I can help navigate your transition to civilian life by improving your ability to cope with difficult emotions and thoughts using various types of therapy tailored for you and your goals.
